How a 5-Star Hotel in Singapore Eliminated Persistent Elevator Odours in Just 24 Hours

One of Singapore’s iconic five-star hotels faced a common but frustrating problem: a smelly elevator that refused to stay fresh. Despite trying various solutions—including fragrance dispensers, scent sachets, and regular cleaning—the unpleasant odour lingered.
 
Determined to find a real solution, the hotel turned to us. One of their criteria was that there would be no further drilling of the lift’s walls.

We installed our tiny BPI-Mini-5 Bipolar Ioniser above the ceiling of the  lift as you can see in the photo. This compact but powerful unit uses advanced bipolar ionization (BPI) technology to neutralize odours at the molecular level—without masking them with fragrance.

​Within 24 hours, the odours were gone, leaving only fresh smelling air (we call it Swiss Mountain Top Fresh!) and a very happy General Manager!
